


On 24th April 2016, Madarsa Islamia Riyaz-ul-Uloom organized its Annual Takmeel-e-Hifz-e-Qur’an and Dastarbandi Ceremony, a spiritually uplifting and joyous event to honor students who completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an and reached this significant milestone in their Islamic education.
The gathering was graced by prominent personalities from religious, social, and political spheres. Among the distinguished guests were:
- Maulana Hussamuddin Jaffer Pasha Sani-e-Aqil Sahab – Ameer-e-Millat Islamia and Member, All India Muslim Personal Law Board
- Mr. Muhammad Mehmood Ali – Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana
- Mr. Baba Fasiuddin – Deputy Mayor of Greater Hyderabad
- Along with several other notable scholars, community leaders, and well-wishers.
The event began with soulful recitations of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a series of speeches highlighting the importance of Hifz (memorization) of the Qur’an, Islamic education, and the role of madaris in preserving the religious identity of the Ummah. The audience was deeply moved by the spiritual atmosphere and the heartfelt expressions of joy and pride shared by parents and teachers.
Maulana Jaffer Pasha Sahab delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the responsibility of Huffaz to live by the teachings of the Qur’an and to serve as role models in society. Deputy CM Mehmood Ali Sahab praised the efforts of the institution and reiterated the Telangana government’s support for minority education and religious institutions. Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin also expressed his appreciation for the dedication of students and teachers alike.
As part of the ceremony, dastarbandi was performed for each Hafiz-e-Qur’an in recognition of their spiritual achievement. The event concluded with duas, prize distributions, and heartfelt congratulations to the students and their families.
