Hyderabad: The 30th Grand Dastarbandi Ceremony of Huffaz was held with great devotion and grandeur under the auspices of Madarsa Islamia Riyaz-ul-Uloom and Riyaz Islamic School, Falaknuma, at Masjid Anwar-e-Madina, located within the campus of Madarsa Islamia Riyaz-ul-Uloom.
The blessed gathering was presided over by Ameer-e-Millat Islamia, Hazrat Maulana Hussamuddin Sani Aaqil, popularly known as Jaffer Pasha, the successor of Hazrat Maulana Hameeduddin Hasami Aaqil (R.A.). The event was supervised by Hazrat Maulana Mohammed Siddiq Ahmed Qadri Hussami, Founder and Mohtamim (Principal) of the institution.
The programme was graced by several distinguished guests, including Mohammed Mubeen, MLA of Bahadurpura constituency, Abdul Hannan, Corporator, Circle Inspector Falaknuma A. Sethi, Sub-Inspector Sheikh Haseena, along with prominent religious leaders from different faiths, reflecting a strong message of communal harmony and mutual respect.
The rituals of Takmeel-e-Hifz and the lighting of Shama-e-Quran were performed by Hazrat Maulana Irshad Ahmed Baqvi, Khateeb of Jamia Masjid Sarwar-e-Kaunain (ﷺ). The special address was delivered by Maulana Musaddiq Qasmi, President of Jamiat Ulama Greater Hyderabad.
On this occasion, eight Huffaz were honoured with Dastarbandi, while around 55 boys and girls were awarded certificates for the successful completion of Nazira-e-Quran along with modern education from Class I to Intermediate.
A large number of parents, local dignitaries, scholars from various schools of thought, and members of the public attended the ceremony and appreciated the efforts of the students, teachers, and management, extending their best wishes and prayers.
At the conclusion of the programme, Maulana Mohammed Riyaz Ahmed, Director of the institution, expressed gratitude to all the guests and participants for making the event a grand success.
