At a felicitation ceremony and awards distribution event held at Riyaz-ul-Uloom and Riyaz Islamic School on May 20, 2024, Obaidullah Kotwal, Chairman of the Telangana Minority Finance Corporation, emphasized the importance of integrating modern scientific and technical education into madrassas. He praised the institution’s efforts in providing both religious and contemporary education to students, highlighting it as a model for other Islamic schools.
The event, presided over by Maulana Muhammad Siddiq Ahmed Qadri Hasami, also featured speeches by local corporator Abdul Hanan, who lauded Maulana’s contributions to education and community service over the past 28 years.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of awards to top-performing students from nursery to eighth grade and certificates to successful tenth-grade students. The gathering was attended by notable figures including Muhammad Zakir and Jahangir.
